Hotel a Swans Island

“This was a very charming inn, the property was tranquil and many treasures found beach combing right there! Near by was amazing burrito bowl at El El Frijoles! Perfect weather, atmosphere and sleeping!”

“The Inn was such a cute little treasure. Our room had New England charm. There is a common room that all guests can use which was super nice w snacks, water and coffee and had quaint seating to watch the goings on in the harbor. On our first day we saw a schooner sailing. The staff is super responsive and kind. Definitely one of the best spots in Stonington.”

“Very cute, family run Inn. The proprietors were very friendly and accommodating. Homemade muffins at the Continental breakfast (included). It's very close to the entrance to Arcadia and 10 minutes from Bar Harbor!”

“Camera con letto un po’ piccolo,ma con il necessario (microonde,phone,frigo). Pulizia ottima. La mattina alla reception disponibile caffè e donuts. Il motel si trova a ridosso della strada trafficata,ma il rumore non si sente affatto da dentro la camera. Visti i prezzi della zona,questo motel è un'ottima soluzione economica.”

“This had to be one of the cleanest places that I have stayed. It is a rustic cabin with modest decorations.”

“I think my communication issues may have been on the Expedia side of things and have little to do with the host. I had a hard time navigating to leave a message and the only messages I received were sent in February, months before my May attempts to communicate. The messages I did read from Feb were hard to access and appeared in faded gray color font with copy and paste nearly unreachable as printing was off the screen of my iPhone. Note to host would be to have an extra roll of TP and...

“Nice motel, you can reach the harbor in 10 minutes on foot or easily with the bus. Very good choice if you plan to visit the Acadia National Park or for whale watching or other activities in Bar Harbor.”

“Beautiful view! Nice balcony . Spacious room. Friendly people. Breakfast was satisfactory. Parking was lovely. Always a spot and no charge. Decent location. The pool wasn't operational. Not heated or I would have been in it. A few shabby spots including the walkway to the rooms. Seems slanted toward the outside and the carpeting on it seemed a bit worn. Bath tub was very slow to fill and the plug was iffy. Beds were excellent. Would stay here again.”

“I was very happy about the room at Acadia Pines Motel. The price was great, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, the staff friendly, quiet surroundings, free parking , with a BBQ restaurant next door and seafood across the road. And this was 10 minutes away from the center of Bar Harbor. Why spend a lot of money if you are just looking for a place to sleep. I will reserve again!”
